  • • Build, negotiate, and maintain relationships with airline and online travel agency (OTA) partners in North America, serving as the primary point of contact for day-to-day needs and account development.
  • • Maximize revenue from existing partnerships and identify opportunities to form new commercial partnerships that enhance KAYAK’s product and user experience.
  • • Identify gaps in flight content within KAYAK’s metasearch results and drive content optimization to improve partner visibility, competitiveness, and conversion rates.
  • • Analyze and monitor the performance of partner content and commercial relationships using business and user metrics, leveraging tools such as Salesforce and BI/reporting platforms to surface trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
  • • Develop and maintain performance reports for internal stakeholders and external partners, ensuring clarity and actionability of data-driven insights.
  • • Collaborate cross-functionally with Commercial, Product, and Engineering teams to support integrations, troubleshoot technical issues, and prioritize product improvements aligned with partner needs.
  • • Monitor the competitive landscape of travel search platforms, identify KAYAK’s weaknesses relative to competitors, and formulate and execute strategic plans to close performance gaps.
  • • Work from the Cambridge, MA office three days per week, with flexibility to work remotely up to 20 days per year.
  • • Participate in business reviews and partner-facing performance discussions, presenting findings and recommendations with clarity and confidence.
  • • Maintain a deep understanding of KAYAK’s metasearch platform and its role within the broader travel ecosystem, including momondo, Cheapflights, and HotelsCombined.

🎯 Requirements

  • • At least 4 years of meaningful experience in commercial partnerships, account management, or business development
  • • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and using data to inform decisions
  • • Experience managing multiple projects of varying scope and priority simultaneously
  • • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal technical teams and senior commercial stakeholders
  • • Clear and confident verbal and written communication skills, including experience presenting findings or recommendations
  • • Experience managing complex, multi-faceted partner relationships
