- • As an Associate Consultant at Flexera Software LLC, you will play a pivotal role in helping organizations optimize their technology investments by implementing and configuring Flexera’s award-winning SaaS solutions for Hybrid ITAM and FinOps, directly contributing to customers’ ability to save billions in wasted technology spend through improved cost optimization, compliance, and risk management.
- • You will support customer stakeholders throughout the full implementation lifecycle—from kick-off to close-out—ensuring seamless integration of Flexera’s cloud and on-premises solutions with third-party systems, driving adoption, usage, and long-term loyalty while upholding Flexera’s reputation as a category leader recognized by Gartner, Forrester, and IDC.
- • Day to day, you will follow design documentation from Flexera Services Architects to implement solutions in alignment with best practices, configure integrations between Flexera platforms and customer environments using APIs, flat files, or databases, and create high-quality implementation documentation that serves as a reference for internal teams and clients.
- • You will collaborate closely with customer subject matter experts to understand their unique technology landscapes, troubleshoot configuration challenges, and translate technical requirements into actionable implementation steps, bringing innovation and process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency across engagements.
- • You will contribute to multiple concurrent projects, leveraging your self-starter attitude to conduct independent research, troubleshoot issues, and propose improvements to existing workflows, all while maintaining clear, consultative communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- • You will apply and expand your foundational knowledge of cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP), data architecture, networking, IT security, and scripting (PowerShell, bash) to support ETL processes, REST/SOAP integrations, and Transact-SQL modifications, gaining hands-on experience with enterprise ITAM and FinOps toolchains.
- • You will work with Microsoft technologies including SQL Server, Windows Server, Active Directory, and IIS, and gain exposure to software deployment and discovery tools such as SCCM, Intune, HP-UD, and BMC Helix Discovery, building practical expertise in enterprise infrastructure ecosystems.

- • In this role, you will develop deep consulting and technical implementation skills, positioning yourself for advancement into senior consulting, solution architecture, or product specialization roles within Flexera’s fast-growing Professional Services organization, while gaining exposure to cutting-edge cloud, containerization (Kubernetes, Docker), and BI technologies (Power BI, Tableau) through desired skill development opportunities.
🎯 Requirements
- • Effective communication to technical stakeholders with an engaging presentation style and consultative thinking for creative problem-solving
- • Self-starter attitude with ability to troubleshoot, conduct independent research, and contribute to multiple projects running in parallel
- • Fundamental understanding of cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP), advanced data/application architecture, networking concepts, IT security, and scripting (PowerShell or bash)
- • Some experience with ETL processes via API, flat files, or databases, and working with REST and SOAP protocols
- • Ability to read, write, and modify Transact-SQL
- • Basic knowledge of software deployment, discovery, and inventory solutions (e.g., Microsoft SCCM, Intune, HP-UD, BMC Helix Discovery)
- • Basic knowledge and experience with Microsoft stack technologies including SQL Server, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Internet Information Services
