📋 Description

• Lead a small finance team in a hands-on capacity, setting priorities and standards while directly executing accounting, treasury, and compliance tasks alongside the team.
• Own the full accounting function including month-end close, financial statement preparation, reconciliations, audit readiness, accounts payable, and payroll operations across multiple jurisdictions.
• Manage crypto and digital asset accounting with transaction-level reporting, wallet reconciliations, and classification of fiat and on-chain activity, including the accounting treatment and valuation of the $ME token.
• Oversee equity and token administration, maintaining the cap table, option pool, token grant ledgers, and associated financial disclosures in compliance with applicable standards.
• Own AML/CTF compliance and KYC processes across all operating regions, managing relationships with regulators, external auditors, and legal counsel.
• Maintain and enhance internal financial controls and governance frameworks to ensure compliance as the business expands into new markets and product lines.
• Design and operate treasury systems for real-time fund flows across fiat and crypto assets, managing liquidity, exposure, counterparty risk, and concentration risk.
• Track and reconcile revenue, promotional spend, affiliate payouts, and KOL compensation across wallets and third-party platforms.
• Own the P&L, including forecasting, scenario planning, variance analysis, and unit economics modeling (CAC, LTV, cohort analysis, VIP dynamics).
• Drive cost management and capital allocation decisions, supporting fundraising preparation and investor relations activities including board reporting.
• Build and maintain financial infrastructure for real-time visibility and reporting, managing multi-entity structures, intercompany flows, and service agreements.
• Administer transfer pricing, corporate tax, GST/VAT, withholding tax, and cross-border compliance for complex multi-jurisdictional operations.
• Operate in a zero-to-one phase with minimal structure, requiring high ownership, judgment, and the ability to execute both strategically and operationally without delegation.
• Build scalable financial systems that reduce reliance on headcount growth while enabling Dicey’s real-time gaming platform to handle global fiat and crypto transactions.
• Collaborate closely with the COO and cross-functionally across product, engineering, and legal teams to embed financial operations into the core product architecture.
• Translate financial data into actionable insights for business performance, risk management, and strategic decision-making in a high-velocity, crypto-native environment.
• Establish financial reporting standards for tokenomics, including $ME token issuance, distribution, and economic modeling aligned with regulatory and accounting frameworks.
• Ensure all financial operations support Dicey’s mission to power a next-generation crypto casino and sportsbook platform targeting the $180B+ global gaming market.

🎯 Requirements

• 8–12+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial operations with hands-on execution
• Proven experience in crypto and digital asset accounting, including on-chain transaction reporting and token valuation
• Direct experience with AML/CTF compliance and regulated financial environments
• Background in gaming, betting, trading, exchanges, payments, or similarly high-velocity industries
• Experience managing treasury and fund flows across both fiat and crypto assets
• Comfort operating in lean, unstructured environments with high ownership and minimal oversight
