📋 Description

  • • As a Marketing Automation Specialist at Smartsheet Inc., you will be at the forefront of driving impactful communication strategies, serving as the primary owner for managing and executing campaigns through our robust Marketo instance.
  • • This pivotal role demands a deep, hands-on expertise in marketing automation, focusing on the meticulous design, development, optimization, and ongoing maintenance of automated and batch communications that form the backbone of our marketing engine.
  • • You will be instrumental in crafting sophisticated nurture programs, designing engaging batch email campaigns, building dynamic smart campaigns, and developing precise segmentation logic to ensure our messages reach the right audiences at the right time.
  • • Your responsibilities extend to the comprehensive management of all campaign operations, encompassing the intricate process of email builds, the creation of compelling landing pages, the development of effective forms, the strategic use of tokens, and the rigorous execution of A/B testing to continuously refine campaign performance.
  • • A critical aspect of this role involves upholding the highest standards of database hygiene, ensuring adherence to deliverability best practices, and maintaining strict compliance with global data privacy regulations such as GDPR and CAN-SPAM, safeguarding both our brand reputation and customer trust.
  • • You will collaborate closely with our Business Intelligence (BI) team to maintain insightful performance reports and dashboards, providing crucial data to track and measure the effectiveness of marketing programs and inform future strategies.

  • • This includes ensuring that all attendee and engagement data is accurately integrated into Marketo and Salesforce, facilitating effective follow-up nurtures and precise attribution tracking for event ROI.
  • • You will also be responsible for analyzing event performance metrics, contributing valuable insights to the ongoing optimization and enhancement of our virtual event program.

  • • To ensure operational efficiency and scalability, you will meticulously document all processes, workflows, and system configurations, creating a knowledge base that supports continuity and facilitates onboarding.
  • • Furthermore, you will actively evaluate and recommend enhancements to our marketing technology stack, aligning our tools and capabilities with evolving business needs and industry trends.
  • • A strong emphasis will be placed on project and stakeholder management, where you will manage the prioritization of tasks and inputs from various business owners across the organization.
  • • You will maintain Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and established processes to guarantee the delivery of high-quality, timely work for all stakeholders, leveraging our Smartsheet program management environment to ensure smooth project execution.
  • • This role is ideal for a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced B2B SaaS environment, possesses a deep understanding of the B2B lead lifecycle, funnel management, and demand generation principles, and is committed to data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • • Your sharp attention to detail and dedication to maintaining clean, reliable data will be paramount in ensuring the integrity and success of all marketing initiatives.
  • • You will foster strong communication and collaboration across marketing, sales, and operations teams, building bridges and ensuring alignment towards shared business objectives.
  • • By mastering our marketing technology stack and driving efficient campaign execution, you will directly contribute to Smartsheet's growth and success, empowering teams to achieve their goals through seamless work management and smart, scalable solutions.
  • • This is an opportunity to join a dynamic team and make a significant impact on how Smartsheet connects with its audience and drives business outcomes through sophisticated marketing automation.
