- • Lead the strategic vision, market expansion, and commercial execution for e.l.f. Cosmetics in Canada and Mexico, two of the brand’s fastest-growing international markets, ensuring alignment with global priorities while driving locally resonant, high-impact go-to-market strategies that accelerate brand growth and deepen consumer engagement.
- • Serve as the regional marketing leader responsible for translating global brand strategy into actionable plans across retail, digital, social, and influencer channels, optimizing performance through data-driven decision-making and cross-functional collaboration with sales, finance, supply chain, and product development teams.
- • Own the end-to-end launch excellence for new product introductions and seasonal campaigns in the Americas region, coordinating timing, messaging, asset localization, and retail activation to maximize sell-through and market share gains.
- • Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape in Canada and Mexico to identify white space opportunities, inform pricing and promotion strategies, and recommend portfolio adjustments that support long-term sustainable growth.
- • Build and nurture key retail partnerships with major mass merchants (e.g., Walmart, Target, Shoppers Drug Mart) and emerging channels, negotiating joint business plans, securing shelf space, and driving incremental sales through co-marketing initiatives and exclusive assortments.
- • Mentor and develop a high-performing regional marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and inclusivity while ensuring clear goals, KPIs, and regular performance feedback are established and tracked.
- • Partner closely with global brand, creative, and insights teams to ensure regional adaptations maintain brand integrity while resonating with local cultural nuances, language preferences, and beauty trends unique to Canadian and Mexican consumers.
- • Monitor and report on regional P&L performance, market share, and brand health metrics to senior leadership, providing actionable insights and forecasts that inform annual planning and resource allocation decisions.
- • Champion e.l.f.’s mission of clean, cruelty-free, high-value beauty by ensuring all regional marketing efforts reflect the brand’s core values and commitment to accessibility, inclusivity, and ethical sourcing.
- • Operate within a hybrid work model (3 days in office, 2 days remote) based in New York, NY, with frequent travel to Canada and Mexico as needed to engage with retail partners, attend trade events, and conduct on-the-ground market research.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
- • 8+ years of progressive experience in marketing, brand management, or go-to-market strategy within the beauty, CPG, or retail industry, with proven success in driving growth in international or emerging markets.
- • Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing integrated go-to-market plans across retail, digital, and social channels, including launch management, trade promotion optimization, and retail activation.
- • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in interpreting market data, consumer insights, and financial metrics to inform strategic decisions and measure ROI.
- • Proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams (sales, finance, product, supply chain) in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
- • Experience working in or with Canada and/or Mexico markets is highly preferred; fluency in Spanish is a strong asset.
