📋 Description
- • Lead the end-to-end strategy, development, and execution of medical training programs for Xenon’s neuroscience pipeline, including epilepsy, major depressive disorder (MDD), and bipolar depression (BPD).
- • Design and develop scalable, audience-tailored training modules for field medical teams, sales, congress teams, and cross-functional stakeholders using adult learning principles, knowledge checks, and practical application exercises.
- • Lead medical and scientific onboarding for new hires, creating role-based learning paths to ensure compliance readiness and accurate communication of clinical evidence and unmet medical needs.
- • Develop and deliver speaker training and presentation readiness programs covering story flow, data accuracy, appropriate use of visuals, and Q&A preparation for internal and external speakers.
- • Collaborate with Medical Directors and Scientific Communications to create, review, and maintain compliant FAQs, core talking points, and objection-handling resources aligned with the latest medical communications platform and publication plan.
- • Train field and congress teams on new medical communications materials, including congress data disclosures, manuscripts, and slide libraries, ensuring consistent and scientifically accurate exchange.
- • Partner with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Regulatory, Legal, Compliance, and Commercial teams to ensure training content is accurate, aligned, and delivered on schedule.
- • Facilitate live and virtual training sessions, manage training calendars, and assess effectiveness through feedback, knowledge checks, and continuous improvement of content and delivery methods.
- • Develop certification module tests and partner with field medical teams to ensure full certification of Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs).
- • Ensure all training materials and delivery methods comply with applicable regulatory requirements and corporate standards, following required review/approval processes and maintaining version control.
- • Support international travel as needed, up to 10% of time, to deliver training and collaborate with global teams.
- • Act in accordance with Xenon’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, ensuring policies are understood and followed by direct reports, if any.
- • Report directly to the Executive Director, Medical Affairs, within a multidisciplinary team environment focused on building a fully integrated neuroscience company.
- • This position is based in Boston, MA, USA, at the Needham office; remote consideration is available for exceptional candidates, with a minimum of two in-office days per week required for Boston-based employees.
