📋 Description

• As the Associate Director, Obligations Management, you will own the central governance infrastructure that identifies, catalogs, and tracks regulatory and financial partner requirements across Airwallex’s global footprint, ensuring compliance integrity and operational scalability.
• You will architect, scale, and maintain the Global Obligations Register, manage the centralized RFI knowledge base and global audit register, and partner with Regional Regulatory Legal, Local Compliance, Internal Audit, and Second-Line Risk teams to translate legal mandates into structured, audit-ready compliance controls.
• You will lead and scale a high-performing obligations management team, replacing manual processes with advanced GRC tooling and automated dashboards to drive efficiency and control effectiveness.
• The Regulatory & Compliance team at Airwallex enables responsible growth by navigating complex global regulations, partnering across the business to protect customer, partner, and regulator trust in a fast-moving, highly regulated fintech environment.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in global regulatory compliance, GRC program leadership, and cross-functional stakeholder alignment while contributing to Airwallex’s mission of building the future of global payments and finance.
