- • The Associate Director, U.S. State and Tax position at Eli Lilly and Company is responsible for researching, monitoring, advising, and documenting tax legal matters related to U.S. state and local tax law, including income, sales, use, and indirect taxes, while providing financial analysis and support for audits and acquisitions.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include researching complex U.S. state and local tax issues, analyzing their application to the company, providing tax legal advice to internal departments, monitoring relevant tax legislation, evaluating its impact, collaborating with stakeholders on tax matters, and supporting state and local tax controversy defense by researching and drafting responses to tax authority requests.

🎯 Requirements
- • Juris Doctorate and 5+ years of relevant experience
- • Strong knowledge of U.S. state and local tax laws
- • Strong tax planning and research skills
- • Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects
- • Excellent organizational and self-management skills
- • CPA, MST, or LLM degree is a plus
