- • The Associate Director in State Health and Human Services Technology leads delivery teams on high-impact State & Local Government client engagements and drives business development activities within Guidehouse’s Technology Consulting practice.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include establishing approaches to gather client information on structure, process, technology, and culture; facilitating stakeholder meetings; managing quality control for deliverables; leveraging Guidehouse frameworks to implement program improvements; providing feedback and coaching to project resources; and driving business development through RFP responses, proposal development, and account planning.
- • The role is part of Guidehouse’s State and Local Government Practice, which serves public sector clients with technology and management consulting solutions, particularly in health and human services domains.
- • The Associate Director will develop expertise in HHS technology solutions, strengthen leadership and stakeholder influence skills, deepen knowledge of government procurement lifecycles, and contribute to impactful client outcomes in Medicaid, Child Welfare, HCBS, and related programs.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience in the State/Local Health and Human Services industry.
- • Experience delivering HHS projects, including Integrated Eligibility, Child Support, Child Welfare, Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS), and/or Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES).
- • Bachelor’s degree required.
- • Experience with core and emerging technologies such as Cloud, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and enterprise platforms.
- • Proven track record of client solution delivery and achieving impactful technology solutions in the HHS domain.
- • Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- • Government Procurement Expertise: Familiarity with HHS procurement lifecycle, including writing RFP/RFI responses, contract vehicles, and state-specific procurement processes.
- • Must be willing to travel up to 50% for meetings as needed.
- • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- • Must be a US citizen or Permanent resident.
- • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST" clearance; active clearance is preferred.
