- • The Associate Director, Thought Leader Liaison (Rare Disease) is a field-based, non-sales role on Regeneron’s commercial rare disease team, focused on enhancing interactions with key external US rare disease thought leaders at academic centers and leading community practices to support brand objectives and therapeutic advocacy.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include developing resources for key thought leaders, conducting on-label business discussions, serving as a single point of contact for issue resolution, managing speaker logistics, coordinating KOL engagements at conferences, and partnering with marketing to synthesize insights and refine strategies.
- • The role operates within Regeneron’s Rare Disease & Cardiometabolic Commercial Business Unit, reporting to the Senior Director, Franchise Marketing Head, and requires close collaboration with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Sales, Market Access, and the Rare Disease Leadership Team to ensure tactical alignment.
- • The position offers the opportunity to lead cross-functional initiatives, deepen expertise in rare disease therapeutics, influence brand strategy through real-world insights, and build lasting relationships with key opinion leaders while advancing professional growth in pharmaceutical commercialization.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
- • Minimum 7 years of experience in pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical industries, including prior experience as a Thought Leader Liaison, field sales, product marketing, or medical/clinical roles within the rare disease space
- • Proven ability to engage with key opinion leaders, deliver on-label scientific and disease-state information, and drive advocacy through compliant, non-promotional interactions
