  • • As an Associate Director of Translational Medicine within BeiGene's rapidly expanding immunology and inflammation portfolio, you will play a pivotal role in advancing transformative therapies for patients suffering from serious autoimmune and immune-mediated diseases.

  • • Your primary responsibility will be to serve as the clinical biomarker lead for selected immunology programs, taking ownership of the design and execution of sophisticated, mechanism-driven clinical biomarker strategies.
  • • These strategies will be critical in informing crucial clinical decisions, including patient selection, dose and regimen optimization, and overall clinical development pathways.
  • • You will provide essential translational and biomarker leadership across the entire spectrum of clinical development, acting as a core, contributing member of cross-functional development teams.
  • • Your expertise will help propel early- and late-stage programs forward through the application of cutting-edge biomarker and translational approaches.

  • • This includes a focus on pharmacodynamic biomarkers, mechanism-related biomarkers, optimizing drug dosage and regimens, and enabling effective patient stratification.
  • • You will also contribute to the development of companion diagnostic (CDx) strategies where appropriate, ensuring alignment with clinical and regulatory objectives.
  • • A critical function will be the interpretation and clear communication of complex clinical biomarker data, providing essential insights to guide study execution and support key program decisions.
  • • You will foster close collaboration with assay development, CDx, clinical operations, and analytical teams to guarantee that all biomarker approaches are fit-for-purpose and implemented with precision and efficiency within clinical studies.
  • • You will lead the development of biomarker-related content for clinical protocols and all associated documentation, ensuring strict alignment with overarching clinical objectives and stringent regulatory expectations.
  • • Coordinating the activities of external vendors and partners who are supporting vital biomarker and translational activities will be a key responsibility, ensuring seamless integration and high-quality deliverables.
  • • You will proactively identify translational and biomarker gaps within programs and contribute to targeted research efforts designed to strengthen underlying clinical hypotheses and validate novel approaches.
  • • Your deep expertise in immunology and autoimmune diseases will be leveraged to guide the selection and interpretation of biomarkers across multiple clinical programs, ensuring scientific rigor and strategic alignment.
  • • You will play a role in disseminating scientific findings by contributing to scientific publications and external communications, working collaboratively with internal stakeholders to share our advancements with the broader scientific community.
