- • Oversee the end-to-end consolidation and close process across global entities, ensuring accurate financial reporting within NetSuite and OneStream, including foreign currency translation and intercompany eliminations
- • Maintain the integrity of financial data from subledger through consolidation and corporate reporting, supporting adherence to a five-business-day close cycle aligned with Parent Company timelines
- • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual fluctuation analysis across the P&L and balance sheet, delivering clear commentary on key variances, trends, and business drivers to support decision-making
- • Facilitate close review discussions, highlighting risks, callouts, and performance insights while translating complex financial results into actionable business narratives
- • Administer and optimize close and reconciliation tools such as FloQast to enhance scalability, accuracy, and audit readiness of financial operations
- • Support consolidation system integrity by managing mappings, data alignment, and system configurations within OneStream, ensuring seamless data flow across entities
- • Identify, investigate, and resolve system-level and data-level issues impacting reporting quality and timing, driving sustainable solutions that reduce manual effort
- • Oversee intercompany accounting processes including reconciliations, variance analysis, and eliminations, coordinating with offshore teams to meet deadlines and maintain compliance
- • Support balance sheet reconciliations for key accounts and contribute to BlackLine system initiatives to improve control and efficiency
- • Partner cross-functionally with Accounting, FP&A, Tax, GL, and Enterprise Systems to improve upstream data quality and reporting inputs
- • Develop and maintain standardized documentation, processes, and knowledge repositories around consolidation, reporting systems, and financial workflows
- • Lead and develop a direct report, promoting accountability, prioritization, and high-quality execution within the team
- • Drive process improvements focused on automation, AI enablement, reporting efficiency, and data quality enhancements to modernize the close process
- • Serve as a key liaison between KAYAK brands, Parent Company finance teams, and global finance functions to ensure alignment and clarity in reporting obligations
- • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, translating technical financial information into accessible insights for non-finance audiences
- • Proactively identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and accelerate financial operations through scalable solutions and continuous improvement
- • Ensure all financial outputs remain audit-ready and support external reporting requirements with precision and timeliness
- • Contribute to the evolution of financial systems and processes by championing innovation in automation and data governance
🎯 Requirements
- • Strong experience in consolidation, close processes, and financial reporting within a multi-entity environment
- • Demonstrated experience with fluctuation analysis, variance investigation, and financial commentary
- • Systems-oriented mindset with experience using consolidation and close tools such as OneStream and FloQast
- • ERP experience required; NetSuite preferred
- • Understanding of intercompany accounting, foreign currency translation, and global reporting considerations
- • Proven ability to improve processes and support scalable finance operations
