- • This position works remotely with occasional planned travel to the Southfield, Michigan office location, though team members may request to work from that office if desired.
- • Analyze data to drive better business decisions by interpreting complex datasets and identifying actionable insights.
- • Develop complex programming to extract, transform, and manipulate large data sets for reporting and modeling purposes.
- • Create and maintain reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor business performance and model effectiveness.
- • Investigate reporting trends to uncover anomalies, patterns, or opportunities for operational improvement.
- • Run ad hoc data requests for key business users across departments to support decision-making.
- • Provide fraud-related triggers reporting to identify potential risks and support compliance efforts.
- • Automate recurring reports to improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and ensure consistent data delivery.
- • Monitor and maintain complex statistical models in production with the goal of optimizing high-volume business decisions.
- • Develop and produce reports that measure the performance of business processes, models, and strategic initiatives.
- • Perform data analysis to solve business problems and translate high-level business goals into technical specifications and execution tasks.
- • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic objectives and deliver data-driven solutions.
- • Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in all reporting and analytical outputs.
- • Work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple competing priorities.
- • Apply creative analytical skills to solve problems and recommend improvements based on data findings.
- • Demonstrate ability to work on projects with broad, undefined requirements and deliver results under ambiguity.
- • Communicate complex analytical findings in clear, understandable terms to non-technical stakeholders.
- • Contribute to a collaborative team environment by sharing knowledge and supporting peers.
- • Remain compliant with company policies, legal guidelines, and data governance standards.
- • All other duties as assigned by management.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field
- • Experience with SQL, SAS, R, Python, or other statistical programming languages (SAS/SQL preferred)
- • Ability to extract and manipulate large data sets and perform data analysis to solve business problems
- • Strong analytical problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- • Experience creating reports and performing analysis in a business intelligence or analytical tool environment (Mid Level/Senior)
- • Ability to work on multiple competing priorities with minimal supervision (Mid Level/Senior)
