- • Collaborate with Growth leadership, Product, and Marketing teams to understand strategic direction, competitive positioning, and future goals for Velera’s network solutions targeting credit unions and financial institutions.
- • Partner with Regional Vice Presidents (RVPs) and Client Growth Executives (CGEs) to expand network reach within existing client bases while preserving current network business.
- • Support sales leadership and Network Solutions Executives (NSEs) in deep-dive network conversations, value proposition articulation, and net-new business development initiatives.
- • Develop and execute deal strategies for both existing and prospective clients, becoming a subject matter expert in the debit and ATM network landscape.
- • Gather and synthesize market intelligence from client and prospect interactions to inform product, pricing, and value proposition enhancements for Velera.
- • Serve as a trusted industry expert, clearly communicating the overall debit/ATM network environment and Velera’s unique network attributes to internal stakeholders and external clients.
- • Deliver sales presentations, create supporting analysis and materials, and provide on-site or virtual support during client and prospect visits in collaboration with NSE and CGE teams.
- • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and competitor information within the CRM system, and assist in creating sales opportunities and proposal requests as needed.
- • Apply strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to align strategic initiatives with Velera’s business objectives in the credit union financial technology space.
- • Utilize professional communication skills—including written, verbal, and presentation abilities—to effectively engage with internal teams and external clients.
- • Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, to analyze data, build reports, and prepare executive-level presentations.
- • Travel as required to support client engagements, sales activities, and strategic initiatives across the United States.
- • Contribute to a culture of inclusion and belonging by embodying Velera’s people-helping-people philosophy in all interactions.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree required
- • 5–10 years of experience in a financial institution environment in operations, marketing, sales, sales operations, platform, or member services
- • Demonstrated experience with debit and ATM networks, including sales, pricing, and competitive awareness
- • Strong presentation and communication skills with a confident speaking style
- • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
- • Knowledge of the credit union industry, debit network landscape, and related sales operations best practices
