- • We're seeking an Associate Program Officer for the Transformative AI Fund, a new fund within EA Funds supporting early-stage work on transformative AI.
- • The role involves grantmaking, ecosystem development, and contributing to systems and tooling.
- • You'll work closely with the Head of the TAIF and have autonomy to run your own projects and grow in the role.
- • You'll investigate and evaluate grant opportunities, communicate grantmaking reasoning transparently, and source high-quality applications based on strategic insights and networks.
- • You'll collaborate and build partnerships with other funders and organizations, manage relationships with grantees, and represent the fund at EA and AI safety community events.
- • You'll contribute to improvements in grantmaking processes and build and iterate on tooling that cuts repetitive work out of evaluation.
- • You'll have a hand in building the processes, systems, and tools that will run for years.

🏖️ Benefits
- • Total compensation package of $146,595 (US) or £88,192 (UK) for Associate Program Officer
- • Total compensation package of $123,079 (US) or £74,044 (UK) for Senior Program Associate
- • Benefits in the US/UK include private insurance, flexible work hours, a $6,000 / £5,000 annual professional development allowance, a $6,000 / £5,000 mental health support allowance, extended parental leave, ergonomic equipment, 25 days of paid vacation, and more
- • Other locations: For candidates outside the US and UK, we base compensation on our UK salary structure and adjust for the cost of employment and fixed local benefit costs to create an equivalent package
