  • • Execute business plans to identify and close new business within an assigned territory.
  • • Identify customer needs and deliver appropriate responses through written, telephone, and face-to-face interactions.
  • • Conduct field sales calls for assigned accounts, including on-call and operating room consultations.
  • • Provide post-sale follow-up including communication of delivery dates, in-service training, and coordination of product replenishment.
  • • Communicate with current and new customers regarding product updates, changes to Acumed’s product portfolio, and medical educational programs.
  • • Cross-sell additional products and introduce new products to existing and new accounts as they become available.
  • • Drive customer satisfaction by promptly addressing issues, concerns, or problems on assigned accounts.
  • • Maintain accurate customer records in accordance with Acumed specifications using the company’s CRM tool.
  • • Ensure compliance with the AdvaMed Code of Conduct by maintaining privacy and confidentiality, protecting organizational assets, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non-compliance, and adhering to federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
  • • Obtain ongoing training in sales skills and product knowledge to remain current on medical device industry trends, Acumed customers, and competitive landscape.
  • • Actively participate in and attend tradeshows, sales meetings, promotional activities, and professional association meetings, including outside regular business hours.
  • • Gain necessary hospital credentialing to access operating rooms and perform job duties in surgical environments.
  • • Maintain reliable transportation to support travel within assigned territory for sales calls and hospital visits.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (business or medical discipline preferred) or equivalent experience
  • • 0-2 years of demonstrated successful sales experience, preferably in the medical device industry
  • • Ability to communicate effectively with physicians and other surgical personnel
  • • Experience in building and maintaining relationships with surgeons and hospitals in the assigned area
  • • Must be comfortable working in emergency/operating room environments
  • • Must be able to obtain hospital-required credentialing for access
