- • Join Matillion as an Associate Software Engineer to build and enhance Maia, the AI-powered data automation platform that eliminates manual data engineering tasks for global enterprises like Cisco, DocuSign, and Slack.
- • Write production-grade code from day one, contributing directly to core platform features that automate data workflows using agentic AI and 15 years of data engineering expertise.
- • Collaborate with experienced engineers in a fast-paced environment where curiosity, initiative, and high standards drive daily work and continuous improvement.
- • Solve real-world problems faced by data teams by designing, implementing, and testing scalable software solutions that integrate with modern data stacks and cloud infrastructure.
- • Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions to refine architecture, improve system reliability, and ensure clean, maintainable codebases.
- • Work within a global team spanning the UK, US, and India, engaging in cross-functional alignment to deliver features that deliver measurable business impact for customers.
- • Engage with the full software development lifecycle — from requirement analysis and design to deployment and post-launch monitoring — without being siloed into narrow tasks.
- • Contribute to innovation by proposing and prototyping new AI-driven automation capabilities that reduce manual effort and accelerate data delivery for enterprise clients.
- • Receive mentorship and guidance from senior engineers while being trusted to own meaningful components of the product from the outset of your tenure.

🎯 Requirements
- • Entry-level software engineering experience or recent graduate with a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field

- • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly in a fast-moving environment
