- • The Associate Solution Engineer role at Neo4j is a customer-facing technical position that helps organizations realize the value of graph database technology in use cases like fraud detection, knowledge graphs, and risk management. This role matters because it bridges technical expertise with sales enablement, ensuring customers understand how Neo4j powers intelligent applications and AI systems.
- • Day to day, the Associate Solution Engineer will collaborate with the sales team to support the pre-sales process, deliver technical demonstrations, assist in building proof-of-concepts, support solution architecture design, prepare technical proposals, and participate in discovery sessions to map customer needs to Neo4j-based solutions.

🎯 Requirements
- • 1–3 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role (e.g., Junior Pre-Sales, Professional Services, Support, or Technical Consulting)
- • Understanding of database technologies and data modeling concepts; experience with SQL or NoSQL is ideal
- • Solid software engineering principles and proficiency in at least one programming language: Java, Python, or JavaScript
- • Strong written and spoken English communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to small groups
- • Ability and willingness to travel
- • Basic understanding of the sales process and a proactive approach to keeping technical tasks on schedule
