📋 Description

• Serve as Caseware’s subject matter expert for state and local government auditing, ensuring all content aligns with current Yellow Book standards and applicable governmental audit requirements.
• Maintain, expand, and improve audit content within Caseware’s software suite to reflect evolving regulations, compliance frameworks, and best practices specific to state and local government entities.
• Collaborate with product, solutions, and go-to-market teams to translate complex auditing standards into intuitive, actionable workflows within Caseware’s audit software products.
• Review and validate audit templates, checklists, and guidance materials to ensure accuracy, consistency, and regulatory compliance across all government-focused modules.
• Identify gaps in existing content and proactively develop new resources to support government auditors in meeting their compliance obligations.
• Work directly with customers and internal stakeholders to gather feedback on content usability, relevance, and effectiveness in real-world audit environments.
• Stay current with updates from the Government Accountability Office (GAO), state audit agencies, and other regulatory bodies to ensure Caseware’s content remains timely and authoritative.
• Participate in internal training sessions to educate product and sales teams on government auditing standards and how Caseware’s content supports compliance.
• Ensure all published content meets Caseware’s quality standards for clarity, structure, and technical accuracy before release to customers.
• Support the localization and adaptation of government audit content for regional variations across U.S. states and municipalities as needed.
• Contribute to the development of marketing and educational materials that highlight Caseware’s government audit capabilities to prospective clients.
• Document content changes and version histories to maintain audit trails and support internal compliance reviews.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding government audit content with technical precision and regulatory context.
• Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to validate that all content reflects the latest statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Deliver content updates on a scheduled basis to align with fiscal year cycles, regulatory deadlines, and product release timelines.

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as an auditor or audit manager specializing in state and local government audits
• In-depth knowledge of the Yellow Book (Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards - GAGAS)
• Proven ability to interpret and apply complex governmental auditing standards to software content
