📋 Description

• Senior Product Engineer, Treasury (Elixir) role at Vic.ai Inc., a venture-backed autonomous finance platform processing hundreds of millions of invoices annually using AI to automate accounts payable and treasury workflows.
• Design, build, and operate Elixir/Phoenix services including APIs, data pipelines, and async processing; own features end-to-end from product framing through front-end delivery; ensure reliability on Tier 0/1 systems with observability, monitoring, and operational rigor; use AI-assisted tools like Claude Code and help shape architecture, practices, and code review.
• Work directly with founders on product direction alongside a small, senior team across treasury, product, and data/AI; embedded with an EST-based treasury team; remote US-based role requiring EST hours.
• Gain end-to-end ownership of treasury platform features moving billions in transaction volume; shape AI-driven spend initiatives including corporate expense and travel agents and payment card infrastructure; develop expertise in distributed systems, concurrency, and cloud-native technologies while influencing product and technical direction at a high-growth fintech AI company.

🎯 Requirements

• US-based and able to work EST hours
• 5+ years of professional experience with strong production Elixir and Phoenix
• Ships features end-to-end — product framing through front-end — without a handoff
• Solid grounding in distributed systems, concurrency, and async processing
• Strong PostgreSQL; hands-on with cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and CI/CD
• Demonstrated, fluent use of AI coding tools (esp. Claude Code) in real day-to-day work
