📋 Description
- • The Assurance Manager – State & Local Government role is a 6-month contract position focused on supporting government clients in implementing and optimizing CaseWare’s audit and accounting solutions, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in financial reporting processes.
- • Day to day, the individual will collaborate with state and local government accounting teams to configure CaseWare software for audit engagements, provide training and technical support, troubleshoot implementation issues, and ensure alignment with governmental accounting standards (GASB) and audit methodologies.

- • In this role, the individual will deepen expertise in governmental accounting frameworks, gain hands-on experience with enterprise audit software implementations, develop client-facing consulting skills in the public sector, and contribute to mission-critical financial transparency initiatives for state and local governments.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- • Minimum 3 years of experience in audit, accounting, or financial reporting, preferably within state or local government
- • Proven experience with CaseWare Working Papers, Audit, or IDEA software
- • Strong understanding of GASB standards and governmental accounting principles
- • Excellent communication and training abilities to support non-technical users
- • Ability to manage multiple client engagements independently and meet deadlines
