Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Shape the sound of the skies. As Audio Programming Specialist at Touch, a Conetic Group company, you will own the complete audio experience for millions of passengers flying with our airline partners worldwide. You will translate passenger demographics, regional listening habits, and global music trends into curated playlists, podcasts, and audiobooks that transform hours in the air into memorable moments.
- • Architect data-driven content strategies. You will analyse consumption data from multiple IFE systems, identify emerging genres, and forecast what passengers want to hear next quarter. Your insights will guide label negotiations, promotional campaigns, and long-term programming roadmaps that keep our airline clients ahead of the curve.
- • Curate and license world-class audio libraries. You will hand-pick tracks, episodes, and titles from major labels, indie publishers, and collective management organisations, ensuring every selection aligns with brand guidelines and passenger expectations. You will structure licensing agreements that secure the best catalogues at industry-standard fees while guaranteeing full rights compliance across all onboard service models.
- • Negotiate custom audio creations. Beyond playlists, you will commission bespoke boarding music, promotional soundtracks, and branded audio identities that reinforce each airline’s unique personality. You will brief composers, manage production timelines, and deliver finished assets ready for global rollout.
- • Translate passenger profiles into sonic journeys. Working with airline client teams, you will map cabin demographics—business routes, leisure destinations, cultural nuances—and translate them into genre-balanced rotations, seasonal specials, and language-specific content that feels personally crafted for every traveller.
- • Drive analytics that inform the industry. You will build dashboards that track skip rates, completion percentages, and peak listening hours, turning raw usage data into actionable reports for labels, airlines, and internal stakeholders. Your findings will influence royalty distributions, marketing spend, and future content investments.
- • Champion innovation in inflight entertainment. You will pilot immersive audio formats, voice-first interfaces, and interactive podcast experiences that differentiate our airline partners and set new industry benchmarks. You will stay plugged into tech trends, attend global music conferences, and bring fresh ideas back to the team.
- • Steward rights and royalties with precision. You will prepare music-usage reports, PRO payments, and royalty statements, ensuring every stream, download, and public performance is accurately tracked and compensated. Your meticulous administration protects both artists and airlines from legal exposure.
- • Collaborate across borders and time zones. You will coordinate with label reps in Los Angeles, operations teams in Lisbon, and airline marketers in Dubai—sometimes all in one day. Your calendar will balance virtual listening sessions, rights-clearance calls, and occasional on-site visits to aircraft or airline headquarters.
- • Present confidently to any audience. Whether pitching a summer Latin-pop takeover to a European carrier or explaining royalty splits to finance directors, you will distil complex concepts into compelling narratives backed by data and creative vision.
- • Juggle multiple projects without missing a beat. From a last-minute playlist refresh for a VIP charter to a year-long catalogue renewal with a major label, you will prioritise ruthlessly, delegate smartly, and deliver on every promise.
🎯 Requirements
- • Fluent in English and Polish (spoken and written)
- • Proven track record in music curation across multiple genres and media types
- • Deep understanding of music rights, licensing frameworks, and collective management organisation processes
- • Strong data analytics skills with the ability to turn usage metrics into strategic insights
- • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, comfortable presenting to both creative and corporate stakeholders
- • Experience in marketing, communications, or customer service within the airline or entertainment industry is a strong plus
