ďż˝ Description
- • Serve as the authoritative voice for New England Donor Services (NEDS) by educating healthcare professionals, hospital administrators, and community partners on the intricate legal and clinical criteria that govern organ and tissue authorization. Your expertise will directly influence donation outcomes across six New England states.
- • Own the end-to-end design, delivery, and continuous improvement of evidence-based education programs that demystify federal regulations, state anatomical gift acts, and NEDS policy. You will translate dense regulatory language into clear, actionable guidance that empowers clinicians to make confident, compliant decisions at the bedside.
- • Build and maintain a living curriculum that includes virtual instructor-led courses, self-paced e-learning modules, quick-reference pocket guides, and scenario-based simulations. You will leverage adult-learning principles and learning analytics to ensure every resource maximizes knowledge retention and real-world application.
- • Partner with NEDS clinical teams to identify knowledge gaps and emerging regulatory changes, then rapidly deploy targeted micro-learning or just-in-time coaching to close those gaps. Your agility will ensure that hospitals remain survey-ready and aligned with the latest CMS, OPTN, and FDA requirements.
- • Facilitate live virtual workshops and webinars for multidisciplinary audiences ranging from ICU nurses and emergency physicians to chaplains and social workers. You will use interactive polling, breakout discussions, and case debriefs to keep sessions engaging and relevant.
- • Serve as the primary subject-matter expert during regulatory surveys, accreditation visits, and quality-improvement initiatives. You will prepare briefing packets, coach hospital liaisons, and provide real-time clarification on authorization documentation and consent processes.
- • Track and analyze education metrics—completion rates, pre/post test scores, and donation authorization rates—to demonstrate ROI and guide program refinements. You will present quarterly dashboards to senior leadership and recommend strategic pivots based on data insights.
- • Cultivate long-term relationships with key stakeholders including hospital legal counsel, risk management, ethics committees, and state hospital associations. Your credibility will position NEDS as the go-to resource for donation-related regulatory guidance.
- • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion by ensuring educational materials reflect the cultural and linguistic needs of New England’s diverse communities. You will collaborate with community outreach teams to develop culturally responsive content that builds trust and increases donor registration.
- • Contribute to national best-practice forums, publish white papers, and represent NEDS at professional conferences. Your thought leadership will advance the field of donation authorization education and reinforce NEDS’ reputation as an innovative, mission-driven organization.
