📋 Description

• The Auto Field Claims Consultant role at National General, part of The Allstate Corporation, involves creating or auditing comprehensive damage estimates for first- and third-party material damage claims in auto or specialty lines, ensuring proper claim disposition while maintaining quality and compliance.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include negotiating settlements, making payments, documenting claim activities, evaluating settlement alternatives for regulatory compliance, and building strong relationships with internal and external customers across multiple insurance lines.
• The team operates within a national insurance organization rooted in innovation and customer focus, offering personal and commercial insurance products through independent agents and direct channels, with a commitment to fair claims practices and veteran-friendly employment policies.
• In this role, the individual can develop advanced estimating expertise, deepen knowledge of diverse insurance policies, enhance negotiation and claims resolution skills, and contribute to quality control and mentoring efforts while working remotely from the Houston, TX area.

🎯 Requirements

• Possesses strong estimating fundamentals to create or audit damage estimates for first- and third-party material damage claims of all severities
• Has a deep understanding of all policy types written by the company
• 2 or more years of experience in material damage claims (preferred)
• 4-year Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
• Must reside in Houston, TX or surrounding areas
