- • As an Automation Strategist in Zapier’s Customer Success organization, you will serve as a strategic advisor to enterprise customers, helping them transform automation from a tactical tool into a core business capability that drives measurable value and AI-enabled transformation.
- • Day to day, you will build deep customer relationships to uncover goals and challenges, advise on automation governance and orchestration design, identify and deploy high-value use cases, quantify impact through metrics, and collaborate internally with Sales, Product, Support, and RevOps to align on customer outcomes and influence roadmap decisions.
- • You will join a mission-driven, all-remote team at Zapier committed to making automation and AI accessible to everyone, where clarity, impact, curiosity, and approachable expertise guide how we deliver value through customer success and enterprise innovation.
- • In this role, you will develop expertise in enterprise automation strategy, AI orchestration, and value-based consulting, while shaping scalable frameworks and methodologies that define Zapier’s approach to enterprise customer success and helping customers achieve measurable ROI, renewal, and expansion.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience in SaaS-focused roles such as customer success, consulting, solutions, enterprise product, or process and system strategy
- • Proven ability to connect business goals to product solutions by discovering customer needs, communicating automation value in terms of ROI and scalability, and thinking in systems and orchestration frameworks
- • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey strategy and insights clearly, empathetically, and precisely across audiences—from executives to execution teams—using appropriate channels like Slack, email, workshops, and briefings
- • Demonstrated fluency in using AI as part of daily work, including building workflows, iterating on approaches, and applying AI intentionally for high-quality outcomes
- • Strong data-informed decision-making: interpreting usage patterns, account signals, and customer behavior to guide strategy and collaborating with data science and RevOps to shape data products and workflows
