Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • As the AWS Cloud Architect at Coderio LLC, you will serve as the senior technical authority responsible for shaping the cloud foundation of mission-critical digital solutions for global clients, ensuring that every architectural decision supports scalability, security, and business agility in a fully remote, high-trust environment.
- • You will define and own end-to-end AWS cloud architectures aligned with both functional and non-functional requirements, translating business objectives into resilient, secure, and cost-efficient technical blueprints that engineering teams can confidently implement and evolve.
- • You will design highly available, fault-tolerant, and secure cloud solutions using AWS best practices, leveraging services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, and CloudFront to meet performance, compliance, and availability targets across multi-region deployments.
- • You will lead infrastructure automation initiatives using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools — primarily Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation — to ensure repeatable, version-controlled, and auditable provisioning of cloud resources across development, staging, and production environments.
- • You will establish and evangelize architectural standards, patterns, and governance frameworks for cloud adoption, including naming conventions, tagging strategies, security baselines, and cost optimization practices, enabling consistency and scalability across multiple client engagements.
- • You will act as a trusted technical reference for development, DevOps, and platform teams, providing guidance on service selection, integration patterns, and operational excellence, while participating in architecture reviews, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies to ensure alignment between technical vision and delivery execution.
- • You will oversee cloud security posture, identity and access management (IAM), and compliance adherence (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR), working closely with security and operations teams to implement least-privilege principles, encryption standards, and continuous monitoring.
- • You will support and guide cloud migration initiatives from on-premise legacy systems to AWS, conducting assessments, defining target architectures, planning cutover strategies, and ensuring minimal disruption during transition phases.
- • You will continuously evaluate emerging AWS services and architectural trends (e.g., serverless, microservices, event-driven architectures) to recommend improvements that enhance performance, reduce operational overhead, and future-proof client solutions.
- • You will collaborate with international clients and cross-functional teams in a fully remote setting, communicating complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, fostering trust through transparency, proactive issue resolution, and ownership of outcomes.
🎯 Requirements
- • Senior-level experience (5+ years) as a Cloud Architect, Solutions Architect, or equivalent role, with a proven track record of designing and owning complex AWS architectures in production environments for enterprise-scale applications.
- • Deep, hands-on expertise with core AWS services (compute, storage, networking, database, security, and management) in real-world, high-traffic production settings, including experience with multi-account, multi-region architectures.
- • Demonstrated success in leading end-to-end on-premise to cloud migration initiatives, including workload assessment, re-architecture planning, data migration strategies, and cutover execution with minimal downtime.
- • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation, including module design, state management, drift detection, and integration with CI/CD pipelines.
- • Practical experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, and specifically Amazon EKS), including deploying, scaling, and managing containerized workloads in AWS.
- • Strong grasp of AWS security fundamentals: IAM roles and policies, VPC security groups and NACLs, encryption at rest and in transit, logging and monitoring (CloudTrail, CloudWatch, GuardDuty), and compliance frameworks.
- • Proven ability to thrive in agile delivery environments (Scrum/Kanban), actively participating in refinement, planning, retrospectives, and architecture reviews while balancing technical depth with delivery pragmatism.
- • Fluency in English (spoken and written) at a conversational or professional level, enabling clear communication with global clients, teammates, and stakeholders across time zones.
🏖️ Benefits
- • 100% remote work flexibility — work from anywhere in the world with no relocation required, supported by asynchronous communication practices and a culture built for distributed teams.
- • Opportunity to contribute to long-term, high-impact projects with global clients, where your architectural decisions directly influence system reliability, performance, and business outcomes at scale.
- • Immersion in a strong technical environment characterized by engineering excellence, knowledge sharing, and a collaborative culture that values curiosity, ownership, and continuous learning.
- • Regular interaction with international teams and clients across diverse industries, broadening your perspective and enhancing your ability to solve complex, real-world cloud challenges.
- • Full autonomy and ownership in architectural decision-making, empowered to define standards, recommend technologies, and shape the technical direction without bureaucratic overhead.
- • Inclusive, fair-compensation culture that prioritizes talent over location, offering real growth opportunities through challenging work, mentorship, and exposure to cutting-edge AWS innovations.
