- • Lead the development and execution of Korea-specific B2B marketing plans aligned with global priorities, regional marketing support, and Korea Country/GTM objectives.
- • Drive full-funnel B2B marketing programs including local customer events, field marketing, content creation, customer marketing, developer marketing, and partner marketing.
- • Partner closely with Korea Country/GTM teams, Partnerships, Product Marketing, Communications, Events, regional marketing, and external agencies to deliver integrated campaigns that drive enterprise adoption and pipeline growth.
- • Translate global B2B narratives and product launches into Korea-relevant campaigns, localized content, customer proof points, and sales enablement materials tailored to Korean enterprise buyers.
- • Establish and maintain Korea marketing operating rhythms including planning cycles, event execution, agency and vendor management, budget oversight, performance measurement, and reporting.
- • Serve as the primary Korea voice for B2B marketing, providing market insights, customer perspectives, and local cultural nuance to inform regional and global marketing strategy.
- • Build and scale foundational B2B marketing capabilities in Korea while leveraging regional resources for shared assets, tools, and scalable execution practices.
- • Manage local customer events, field marketing programs, and demand generation initiatives targeting enterprise, developer-adjacent, and partner-led audiences in Korea.
- • Collaborate with Sales and GTM teams to align marketing activities with sales cycles, pipeline targets, and customer acquisition goals in the Korean market.
- • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of B2B marketing initiatives using local performance metrics and adapt strategies based on market feedback and data.
- • Maintain strong relationships with external marketing partners, agencies, and vendors to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery of marketing programs.
- • Ensure all marketing activities reflect OpenAI’s commitment to safety, responsible AI deployment, and human-centered values in the Korean context.
- • Act as a bridge between global marketing strategy and local market execution, ensuring alignment with both corporate messaging and Korea-specific business dynamics.
- • Proactively identify opportunities to strengthen enterprise trust, regulatory compliance, and customer validation in Korea’s highly nuanced B2B environment.
- • Support the growth of OpenAI’s presence among Korean enterprise customers, developers, and technology partners through targeted, high-impact marketing initiatives.
🎯 Requirements
- • 10+ years of marketing experience, including 5+ years in B2B marketing within technology, platforms, or high-growth environments
- • Proven track record of building and executing B2B marketing programs supporting enterprise, developer, or partner-led GTM motions in Korea or similarly complex markets
- • Strong understanding of Korea enterprise buying dynamics, including trust, regulation, partner ecosystems, executive relationships, and local proof points
- • Native Korean and business-level English proficiency with demonstrated stakeholder management and influence skills across local, regional, and global teams
- • Experience working closely with Sales, GTM, Partnerships, Product Marketing, Communications, Events, and external partners in a matrixed organization
- • Demonstrated ability to operate at both strategic and executional levels in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
