📋 Description

• • As a Backend / API Engineer on Stripe’s Revenue and Financial Automation (RFA) team, you will design and build scalable billing systems that power revenue operations for hundreds of thousands of businesses worldwide, enabling them to manage subscriptions, usage-based billing, and financial workflows with reliability and innovation.
• • Day to day, you will design next-generation Stripe products, write high-quality code in languages like Go, Java, or C/C++, debug and resolve critical production issues across distributed systems, mentor fellow engineers, and collaborate cross-functionally with infrastructure, security, design, and operations teams to deliver user-first solutions.
• • You’ll join Stripe’s RFA team, which is building a modern financial management platform for fast-growing digital-native companies, working on mission-critical features that directly impact how businesses collect, model, and retain revenue at scale.
• • In this role, you’ll deepen your expertise in large-scale distributed systems, financial infrastructure, and API design while gaining ownership over products that touch the core of global commerce—accelerating your growth as a technical leader in a high-autonomy, entrepreneurial environment.
