📋 Description

• Backend Developer - AI Trainer role focused on designing and evaluating realistic software engineering tasks for a leading AI Lab, contributing to the advancement of AI training data quality.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include designing multi-file coding tasks (bug fixing, feature development, refactoring, testing), writing natural-language specifications and reference implementations, developing unit and integration test suites, reviewing peer submissions for correctness and clarity, identifying edge cases, and ensuring alignment between specifications, code, and expected outputs.
• Anyone AI Inc. is a remote-first company collaborating with top AI labs to improve AI model training through expert human-in-the-loop evaluation, leveraging a global network of skilled engineers.
• This role offers the opportunity to shape the quality of AI training data, deepen expertise in software engineering task design, work on cutting-edge AI projects, and gain experience in peer review and evaluation processes within a flexible, project-based consulting environment.

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced professional written proficiency in English
• 3–7 years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript; working knowledge of Java, C#, or Go
• Backend or full‑stack development experience in production systems
• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, Go testing)
• Proven ability to debug and navigate large, multi‑file codebases
• Experience with code reviews, refactoring, and production migrations
