- • Design and implement multi-file coding tasks focused on bug resolution, feature development, refactoring, and test generation in production-style environments.
- • Write clear, precise natural-language specifications that define coding problems and expected outcomes for AI model training.
- • Develop reference implementations in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript that serve as correct solutions to the designed coding tasks.
- • Extend and maintain unit and integration test suites using pytest, Jest, JUnit, or similar frameworks to validate code correctness and edge case handling.
- • Review peer-generated coding tasks for accuracy, realism, clarity, and alignment between specifications and implemented code.
- • Identify ambiguities, edge cases, and potential failure modes in submitted tasks to ensure high-quality training data for AI systems.
- • Ensure strict alignment between natural-language problem descriptions, reference code, and expected outputs across all evaluated tasks.
- • Debug and navigate large, complex multi-file codebases to validate functionality and integrity of implementations.
- • Participate in code review cycles, providing actionable feedback on structure, readability, efficiency, and adherence to best practices.
- • Perform production-level code refactoring and migration tasks as part of task design, ensuring realistic scenarios mirror real-world engineering challenges.
- • Deliver robust validation artifacts including test coverage reports, output logs, and failure analyses for each completed task.
- • Work independently on a part-time, project-based basis with full control over schedule and workflow.
- • Contribute to a global AI training initiative by creating high-fidelity software engineering scenarios used to evaluate and improve AI coding capabilities.
- • Maintain professional written proficiency in English to produce unambiguous, technically accurate specifications and feedback.
- • Collaborate remotely with an AI lab team, adhering to project deadlines without direct supervision.
- • Use personal tools and infrastructure to complete all work; no company-provided equipment is provided.
- • Simultaneously engage with other vendors or employers, provided those arrangements do not conflict with project requirements or confidentiality obligations.
- • Receive compensation on a per-project basis, with rates estimated based on anticipated time and complexity of each task.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3–7 years of professional software engineering experience
- • Advanced professional written proficiency in English
- • Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript
- • Backend or full-stack development experience in production systems
- • Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, Go testing)
- • Proven ability to debug and navigate large, multi-file codebases
