- • Design and implement multi-file coding tasks focused on bug resolution, feature development, refactoring, and test generation for AI training datasets.
- • Write clear, precise natural-language specifications and reference implementations that simulate real-world software engineering scenarios.
- • Develop and extend comprehensive unit and integration test suites using frameworks such as pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, or Go testing.
- • Review peer-generated coding tasks for correctness, clarity, realism, and alignment with specifications and expected outputs.
- • Identify edge cases, ambiguities, and potential failure modes in code submissions to improve the quality of AI training data.
- • Ensure strict alignment between task specifications, reference implementations, and expected behavioral outputs in production-like environments.
- • Navigate and debug large, complex, multi-file codebases to validate the feasibility and correctness of coding tasks.
- • Participate in code reviews and contribute to refactoring and production migration efforts as part of task evaluation.
- • Work on a project-based, part-time consultant model with full autonomy over schedule and workload.
- • Deliver high-quality, production-realistic coding tasks that directly train and evaluate AI models in software engineering contexts.
- • Provide structured, actionable feedback on peer submissions to maintain consistency and rigor in task quality.
- • Maintain professional written proficiency in English to produce accurate, unambiguous technical documentation and evaluations.
- • Use own tools and infrastructure; no company-provided equipment or software is supplied.
- • Contribute to a global AI training initiative with a leading AI Lab while retaining the ability to work with other vendors, subject to their policies.
- • Receive payment on a per-project basis, with rates estimated based on anticipated completion time and task complexity.
- • Operate as an independent contractor with no expectation of full-time employment, benefits, or long-term commitment from the company.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3–7 years of professional software engineering experience
- • Advanced professional written proficiency in English
- • Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript
- • Backend or full-stack development experience in production systems
- • Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, Go testing)
- • Proven ability to debug and navigate large, multi-file codebases
