📋 Description

• • As a Backend Engineer on Stripe’s Core Technology team, you will help build and maintain the foundational infrastructure that powers Stripe’s global financial platform, enabling millions of businesses to accept payments and scale their operations.
• • You will design, build, test, and ship reliable, high-performance code for critical systems including compute, networking, distributed caching, and data serving infrastructure, working across teams to ensure scalability, availability, and efficiency.
• • You’ll join Stripe Infrastructure, a organization focused on the reliability, performance, and cost of Stripe’s systems, as well as developer productivity and sentiment, with opportunities to contribute to core infrastructure, developer tools, data platforms, or AI-driven productivity initiatives.
• • In this role, you’ll deepen your expertise in large-scale distributed systems, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and have the autonomy to drive impactful technical decisions that improve the experience of both internal engineers and external users of Stripe’s platform.
