📋 Description

• As a Backend Software Engineer at Nightfall AI, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining the core infrastructure that powers the company’s AI-native data loss prevention and insider risk management platform, enabling secure, scalable processing of sensitive data across enterprise environments.
• Day to day, you will design and develop low-latency, real-time microservices for authentication and API services, maintain and evolve mission-critical internal databases and streaming data systems, optimize high-volume auto-scaling services for performance and reliability, instrument systems for customer-level utilization visibility, and produce clear documentation for both internal and public-facing services.
• You will join a team of engineers at a fast-growing cybersecurity startup backed by top-tier venture capital and industry leaders, working on cutting-edge technology that protects some of the world’s most sensitive data, including for AI innovators and top global financial institutions.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in distributed systems, real-time data processing, and secure backend architecture while contributing to a platform that operates at massive scale with stringent reliability requirements, positioning you as a key contributor to Nightfall’s mission of enabling secure innovation.
