- • As a BI Delivery Lead at Enovis Corporation, you will be a pivotal senior individual contributor responsible for providing operational leadership and comprehensive project management for our unified Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Warehouse team.
- • This role is central to ensuring the seamless, end-to-end delivery of analytics solutions, maintaining rigorous audit and control execution with accuracy and timeliness, and supporting the daily operations and governance of our analytics environment, all in alignment with Enovis Growth Excellence (EGX) principles.
- • Your success will be measured by your ability to manage and deliver projects predictably, ensure audit readiness, foster proactive and clear communication, and demonstrate the flexibility to contribute directly to analytics analysis, validation, or dashboard quality assurance when required.
- • You will be instrumental in coordinating the delivery of critical Business Intelligence (BI) initiatives, acting as a key liaison between BI, IT, and business teams to ensure strategic alignment and successful project outcomes.
- • Your project management responsibilities will encompass the entire lifecycle, including intake, detailed scoping, meticulous scheduling, proactive RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) tracking, robust phase planning, conducting thorough lessons learned sessions, driving process improvement initiatives, ensuring comprehensive documentation, and managing effective communications.
- • A core aspect of your role will be to ensure strong alignment and collaboration among all technical stakeholders involved in BI projects, fostering a cohesive and efficient working environment.
- • You will be expected to communicate dependencies, potential risks, and project timelines with exceptional clarity and consistency, adhering to established processes and standards, and actively contributing to the development and documentation of new standards where gaps are identified.
- • You will play a crucial role in assisting and driving scheduled and ad hoc audit activities for the BI team, ensuring compliance and data integrity.
- • This includes taking the lead in the collection, validation, and timely submission of evidence required for audit activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- • You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process documents, and control workflows, contributing to the overall operational efficiency and compliance of the BI function.
- • Coordination of access reviews, governance approvals, and subsequent remediation activities will also fall under your purview, ensuring secure and appropriate access to data and systems.
- • You will assist in maintaining essential documentation for environments, workspace structures, and data governance processes, ensuring a clear and up-to-date record of our analytics infrastructure.
- • A hands-on component of the role involves writing or validating SQL queries for data checks, validation, and analytical purposes, enabling direct data manipulation and verification.
- • You will also provide support for analytics quality assurance (QA), which includes validating dashboards, verifying insights, ensuring dataset accuracy, and contributing to user experience (UX) adjustments.
- • Ensuring team standards are consistently applied for documentation, naming conventions, data lineage, testing procedures, and release management is critical for maintaining a high-quality analytics output.
- • You will contribute to the maturation of governance processes that effectively support all BI-related work, strengthening our data management framework.
- • Proactively identifying operational gaps within the BI function and proposing well-reasoned, actionable improvements will be a key contribution to continuous improvement.
- • This role requires a strong understanding of Data Warehousing, BI, and analytics workflows, encompassing semantic modeling, analytics delivery pipelines, and data quality processes.
- • You will leverage your experience in project management across cross-functional IT teams, potentially including exposure to Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies.
- • Familiarity with Power BI (datasets, reports, workspaces, deployments) or similar BI tools is essential for dashboard validation and QA tasks.
- • The ability to write and interpret basic SQL for data validation, QA, and analysis is highly desirable.
- • Experience with modern data platforms like Snowflake, Fivetran, or dbt, either as a user or delivery lead, is a valuable asset.
- • Familiarity with governance or catalog tools such as Collibra, Informatica, or Alation would be beneficial.
- • Knowledge of best practices for analytics operations and tracking will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
- • Experience supporting audit, controls, governance, or compliance activities (e.g., SOX, SOC 2, access reviews, change control) is a significant plus.
- • As a remote employee, you will contribute to a global team, driving innovation and transforming patient care from your designated location in the USA.
- • You will be part of a company dedicated to developing clinically differentiated solutions that generate measurably better patient outcomes and transform workflows, fueled by a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- • Your work will directly contribute to Enovis's mission of fueling active lifestyles in orthopedics and beyond, embodying the company's purpose of 'Creating better together'.
