- • As a Bilingual Customer Retention Representative at American Income Life, a proud member of the Globe Life family, you will be at the forefront of safeguarding our valued customer base. This pivotal remote role is designed for individuals who excel in communication, possess a deep sense of empathy, and are driven to find solutions that benefit both the policyholder and the company. You will be instrumental in engaging with policyholders who are considering canceling their life insurance policies or whose policies have unfortunately lapsed, offering them a path to continued coverage and financial security.
- • Your primary responsibility will involve handling inbound calls from policyholders expressing a desire to cancel their coverage. In these interactions, you will employ active listening skills to uncover the root causes of their decision, demonstrating genuine understanding and concern. You will then leverage your product knowledge and problem-solving abilities to explore alternative solutions, such as policy adjustments, payment plan options, or highlighting the enduring value of their existing coverage, with the ultimate goal of retaining their business.
- • Complementing your inbound responsibilities, you will also conduct proactive outbound calls to customers whose life insurance policies have lapsed. This outreach is crucial for re-establishing contact, understanding any new circumstances that may have led to the lapse, and presenting tailored options to reinstate their coverage. Your efforts in this area directly contribute to maintaining policy continuity and ensuring our customers remain protected.
- • A significant aspect of this role involves acting as a trusted advisor. You will meticulously assess each policyholder's unique situation, taking into account their financial circumstances, life stage, and coverage needs. Based on this assessment, you will recommend appropriate modifications to their existing policies or suggest alternative products that better align with their current requirements, ensuring they have the right level of protection.
- • Building and nurturing strong customer relationships is at the heart of this position. You will consistently demonstrate clear, empathetic, and professional communication. This means actively listening to understand their concerns, asking pertinent follow-up questions to gain a comprehensive understanding, and articulating complex policy details and solutions in a simple, accessible manner. Your ability to connect with customers on a personal level will be key to fostering trust and loyalty.
- • Meticulous record-keeping is essential. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all customer interactions, including the details of retention efforts undertaken, the outcomes of those efforts, and any agreed-upon resolutions. This documentation will be managed within our company's customer relationship management (CRM) systems, ensuring data integrity and providing valuable insights for future strategies.
- • Continuous learning and product knowledge are vital. You will be expected to stay abreast of Globe Life's diverse range of life insurance products, their specific features, benefits, and any updates to company procedures. This ensures you can provide accurate, relevant, and comprehensive information to policyholders at all times.
- • Effective communication is paramount. You will need to adapt your communication style to suit the individual needs and preferences of each customer. Maintaining a calm, supportive, and professional demeanor, especially during challenging conversations, is critical. You must ensure all information provided is accurate, complete, and clearly understood by the policyholder, often requiring follow-up to confirm satisfaction with the proposed solutions.
- • To ensure the success of our customer retention initiatives, you will be tasked with meeting and exceeding established contact center Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). These include targets for call volume, retention rates, first-call resolution, adherence to schedule, call quality, and attendance. You will efficiently manage daily call quotas for both inbound cancellation inquiries and outbound lapse recovery contacts, all while upholding the highest standards of service quality and professionalism.
- • This role offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to contribute from the comfort of your home. We offer both full-time and part-time positions, with shifts available in the morning and evening to accommodate various schedules.
