In this fully remote position, you will be instrumental in managing the entire billing lifecycle, from invoice creation and distribution to payment reconciliation and proactive collections. Your meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will directly contribute to reducing outstanding invoices and optimizing cash flow, making a tangible impact on Buildout's financial health and continued growth.
- • As a Billing Associate, you will become an indispensable expert in our billing system, Sage Intacct. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately generate and dispatch customer invoices, ensuring that all contractual details, service periods, and pricing are precisely reflected. This involves a deep understanding of customer agreements and the ability to translate complex contract terms and Salesforce data into clear, actionable billing information. You will be responsible for setting up and managing billing schedules, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing for all our clients.
- • A significant aspect of this role involves the diligent management of Accounts Receivable (AR). You will be tasked with proactively identifying and addressing overdue payments. This requires a strategic approach to collections, including developing and implementing payment plans, communicating effectively with customers to resolve discrepancies, and ensuring that all outstanding balances are reconciled promptly. Your efforts in this area will be crucial in maintaining healthy customer relationships while safeguarding Buildout's revenue.
- • You will serve as a primary point of contact for our customers regarding all billing-related inquiries. 🎯 Requirements
- • Experience with corporate billing, accounts receivable, or collections; SaaS experience or contract billing is strongly preferred.
- • Proficiency with billing systems; experience with Sage Intacct is a significant plus, but not strictly required.
- • Demonstrated customer service experience, with strong interpersonal skills and a deep customer focus.
- • Extreme attention to detail, with the ability to effectively prioritize daily tasks and manage workload.
