• Join Zillow Group's dynamic FinTech team, a pivotal unit dedicated to partnering with Finance to architect, develop, and sustain cutting-edge solutions that streamline and optimize critical business processes. Our team is at the forefront of innovation, delivering both robust native application functionalities and bespoke engineering solutions across a comprehensive spectrum of financial domains. These include, but are not limited to, Billing, Payments, Accounting, Tax, Procurement, and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). We are a collaborative ensemble of highly skilled application analysts, software engineers, and technical project managers, working in close concert with our Finance Product and business stakeholders to champion efficiency, drive transformative change, and elevate financial operations to new heights.
• In this crucial role, you will lead the dedicated Zuora team, responsible for defining the technical vision and strategy for our billing and revenue automation systems. Your leadership will be instrumental in cultivating a high-performing team, fostering an environment of technical excellence and continuous improvement. You will be empowered to make strategic staffing decisions, meticulously oversee the technical execution of projects, and champion initiatives focused on engineering and operational best practices. As a key technical leader within the organization, you will engage in strategic collaborations with product management and business partners, contributing to impactful financial initiatives that shape the future of Zillow Group's financial infrastructure. You will also serve as the primary point of technical escalation, ensuring the unwavering quality, seamless scalability, and absolute reliability of all solutions delivered by your team.
• Your responsibilities will encompass the full spectrum of team leadership and technical oversight. You will be tasked with hiring, diligently mentoring, actively motivating, and effectively managing a team of application analysts who possess deep expertise in Zuora Billing and Revenue. A significant part of your role will involve empowering your team members by equipping them with essential knowledge, fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment, and creating clear pathways for their professional growth and career advancement within Zillow Group. You will provide indispensable technical leadership not only to your immediate team but also to the broader FinTech organization, acting as a guiding force for technical direction and best practices.
• Collaboration is key to success in this position. You will forge strong partnerships with product teams and peer leaders across FinTech, working together to collaboratively build and refine product and technology roadmaps that align with Zillow Group's strategic objectives. A critical aspect of your role will be to ensure the team consistently delivers on established roadmaps and achieves its Objectives and Key Results (OKRs). You will actively participate in organization leadership reviews, providing transparent updates and insights into the team's OKR progress and overall performance. Furthermore, you will be accountable for guaranteeing the exceptional quality, robust scalability, and unwavering reliability of all solutions developed and deployed by your team, ensuring they meet the highest standards of Zillow Group's technology infrastructure.
• Embracing innovation, you will explore and leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) in development practices and solutions, seeking opportunities to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and predictive capabilities within our financial systems. You will actively contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from ideation and design to implementation and ongoing support, while fully embracing and contributing to our Scrum and Agile development processes. 🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science/Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in implementing and supporting complex Finance systems, with a strong emphasis on SaaS platforms and enterprise applications.
• Minimum of 2 years of direct people management experience, demonstrating a proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop technical teams.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Zuora Billing and Revenue automation platforms, including configuration, implementation, and ongoing support.
• Demonstrated experience working within Agile Software Delivery methodologies and proficiency with project management tools such as Jira.
• Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, with a proven track record of building strong working relationships with peers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
