📋 Description
- • Design advanced, deterministic biology problems with exactly one verifiable correct answer to train frontier AI models in scientific reasoning.
- • Create challenging tasks grounded in authentic scientific workflows across molecular biology, genetics, systems biology, computational biology, bioinformatics, or related quantitative biology domains.
- • Develop problems that require experimental reasoning, analysis of biological systems, computational modeling, or bioinformatics pipeline interpretation.
- • Submit complete, verified, and rigorously validated solutions for all generated problems, ensuring reproducibility and technical accuracy.
- • Apply Python programming to implement computational analyses, data processing, or simulation-based problem components where relevant.
- • Utilize specialized biology or bioinformatics tools (e.g., sequence analyzers, structural modeling software, genomic platforms) when designing or solving problems.
- • Ensure all problem statements and solutions meet high standards of clarity, precision, and scientific integrity.
- • Collaborate remotely with a global team to align problem complexity and structure with AI training objectives.
- • Maintain strict attention to detail in problem formulation, solution validation, and documentation to support reliable AI model evaluation.
- • Work on a part-time, contract basis with a commitment of 20 hours per week over a 2-month project period, with potential for extension based on performance.
- • Contribute to building high-quality STEM training datasets used by leading AI laboratories to enhance model reasoning in life sciences.
- • Independently manage workload and deadlines while maintaining consistent output quality across multiple problem sets.
- • Communicate clearly in written English to articulate complex biological concepts and computational steps without ambiguity.
- • Ensure all content avoids speculative or open-ended questions, focusing exclusively on deterministic, answerable scientific challenges.
- • Adapt problem design to reflect current research practices and emerging methodologies in quantitative biology.
🎯 Requirements
- • Master’s or PhD in Biology or a related life sciences field
- • Research or industry experience involving computational or quantitative biological analysis
- • Strong Python skills; experience with data analysis or bioinformatics workflows preferred
- • Strong reasoning ability and comfort with multi-step scientific problem solving
- • Ability to create original, difficult problems grounded in real biological practice
- • Clear written English and strong attention to detail
