📋 Description
- • Design advanced biology problems that challenge frontier AI systems with deterministic tasks requiring exactly one verifiable correct answer.
- • Create scientifically rigorous problems grounded in authentic biological workflows, including experimental reasoning, biological systems analysis, computational modeling, or bioinformatics pipelines.
- • Develop problems spanning molecular biology, genetics, systems biology, computational biology, bioinformatics, or related quantitative life sciences domains.
- • Submit complete, verified solutions for all created problems, ensuring technical accuracy, reproducibility, and clarity in explanation.
- • Utilize Python for problem development and data analysis, integrating specialized biology or bioinformatics tools when relevant.
- • Ensure all problems reflect real-world scientific practices and avoid hypothetical or ambiguous scenarios.
- • Maintain high standards of technical precision, logical consistency, and educational value in every problem submitted.
- • Collaborate remotely with a distributed team of STEM experts to produce high-quality training data for AI models used by leading AI labs.
- • Adhere to strict formatting and documentation guidelines for problem submission, including clear problem statements, step-by-step solutions, and validation criteria.
- • Work on a part-time, contract basis with a commitment of 20 hours per week over a two-month project period, with potential for extension based on performance and project needs.
- • Communicate clearly in written English to articulate complex biological concepts and analytical steps without ambiguity.
- • Review and refine problem sets based on feedback to ensure alignment with AI training objectives and scientific accuracy.
- • Contribute to the expansion of AI reasoning capabilities in scientific domains by generating high-fidelity, challenging biological datasets.
🎯 Requirements
- • Master’s or PhD in Biology or a related life sciences field
- • Research or industry experience involving computational or quantitative biological analysis
- • Strong Python skills; experience with data analysis or bioinformatics workflows preferred
- • Strong reasoning ability and comfort with multi-step scientific problem solving
- • Ability to create original, difficult problems grounded in real biological practice
- • Clear written English and strong attention to detail
