📋 Description

• Design advanced, deterministic biology problems with exactly one verifiable correct answer to train frontier AI models in scientific reasoning.
• Create challenging tasks grounded in authentic scientific workflows, including experimental design, biological systems analysis, computational modeling, or bioinformatics pipelines.
• Develop problems spanning molecular biology, genetics, systems biology, computational biology, bioinformatics, or related quantitative life sciences domains.
• Submit complete, verified solutions for all generated problems, ensuring technical accuracy, reproducibility, and clarity.
• Apply Python programming to implement computational analyses, data processing, or simulation-based biological problems where relevant.
• Utilize specialized biology or bioinformatics tools (e.g., sequence analyzers, structural modeling software, genomic pipelines) when appropriate to enhance problem authenticity.
• Ensure all problems meet high standards of scientific rigor, avoiding ambiguity or multiple plausible answers.
• Maintain precise written communication in clear, professional English to document problem structure, assumptions, and solution logic.
• Collaborate remotely with a global team of STEM experts to contribute high-quality training data for AI models used by leading AI laboratories.
• Adhere to project timelines and deliverables within a 2-month contract period, with potential for extension based on performance and need.
• Work part-time at a commitment of 20 hours per week, with flexible scheduling to accommodate remote work across time zones.
• Focus exclusively on generating original, complex problems derived from real-world biological research practices, not textbook exercises or simplified scenarios.
• Review and refine problem sets iteratively based on feedback to ensure alignment with AI training objectives and scientific accuracy.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding project materials and proprietary AI training methodologies.
• Contribute to the broader goal of enhancing AI reasoning capabilities in life sciences through precise, high-fidelity scientific content creation.

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in Biology or a related life sciences field
• Research or industry experience involving computational or quantitative biological analysis
• Strong Python skills; experience with data analysis or bioinformatics workflows preferred
• Strong reasoning ability and comfort with multi-step scientific problem solving
• Ability to create original, difficult problems grounded in real biological practice
• Clear written English and strong attention to detail
