📋 Description

• Design advanced, deterministic biology problems that challenge frontier AI models with exactly one verifiable correct answer
• Create tasks grounded in authentic scientific workflows including experimental reasoning, biological systems analysis, computational biology, or bioinformatics
• Develop problems spanning molecular biology, genetics, systems biology, computational biology, or bioinformatics domains based on specialization
• Submit complete, verified solutions for all created problems with full technical justification and reproducible methodology
• Ensure all problems meet high standards of rigor, clarity, and scientific accuracy to support AI model training in STEM reasoning
• Use Python for problem development and data analysis, integrating specialized biology or bioinformatics tools when relevant
• Construct multi-step scientific problems that mirror real-world research challenges faced by biologists and bioinformaticians
• Maintain precise attention to detail in problem formulation, solution documentation, and technical terminology
• Collaborate remotely with a distributed team of STEM experts to produce high-quality training data for leading AI labs
• Adhere to strict guidelines for problem structure, solution verification, and reproducibility across all submissions
• Work on a part-time, contract basis with a commitment of 20 hours per week over a 2-month project period, with potential for extension
• Contribute to the development of training datasets used to enhance AI reasoning capabilities in life sciences domains
• Ensure all content reflects current, peer-reviewed biological knowledge and avoids speculative or ambiguous formulations
• Communicate clearly in written English to document problem logic, assumptions, and solution pathways with technical precision
• Review and validate problem sets for consistency, correctness, and alignment with scientific best practices

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in Biology or a related life sciences field
• Research or industry experience involving computational or quantitative biological analysis
• Strong Python skills; experience with data analysis or bioinformatics workflows preferred
• Strong reasoning ability and comfort with multi-step scientific problem solving
• Ability to create original, difficult problems grounded in real biological practice
• Clear written English and strong attention to detail
