📋 Description
- • Shoot and produce original photo and video content for use across web, retail, organic social, paid media, email, events, and out-of-home channels
- • Collaborate with the Brand team to concept and execute visual stories that bring the Tonal brand to life across diverse formats and audiences
- • Translate briefs from channel and campaign leads into hero and supporting visual assets while ensuring content is optimized for each platform without compromising visual integrity
- • Manage the full production process end-to-end, including pre-production planning, shot list development, on-set capture, post-production editing, and final delivery
- • Partner with Tonal’s studio production team to efficiently capture brand and marketing content during existing fitness content shoots, maximizing resource utilization
- • Build trust and rapport with on-camera talent to ensure authentic, genuine performances in every visual capture
- • Maintain consistent visual quality and brand alignment across all content types, from social media snippets to high-impact campaign assets
- • Stay current with emerging visual trends in fitness, wellness, and lifestyle industries to inform creative direction and content strategy
- • Work independently on shoots, including setting up lighting, managing sound, and directing talent without external supervision
- • Adapt creative decisions based on format, context, and platform requirements while preserving the core aesthetic and messaging of the Tonal brand
- • Provide and receive creative feedback efficiently through a structured, collaborative process with producers, directors, and cross-functional teams
- • Integrate seamlessly into Tonal’s team culture, contributing to a collaborative and inclusive creative environment
- • Utilize Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Lightroom, Photoshop), Canva, and CapCut for professional-grade photo and video editing
- • Travel as needed for on-location shoots and participate in studio-based production in New York City
- • Leverage AI creative tools when applicable to enhance workflow efficiency and creative output
- • Maintain a strong portfolio demonstrating range in lifestyle, social, product, and motion content with a distinct visual point of view
- • Bring passion for fitness, health, or wellness to inform authentic storytelling and audience connection
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of professional photography and videography experience, ideally for consumer brands
- • Portfolio demonstrating range in lifestyle, social, product, and motion content with a clear and confident visual point of view
- • Strong post-production skills across photo and video editing using Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Lightroom, Photoshop), Canva, and CapCut
- • Experience shooting content for multiple end uses with understanding of how format and context shape creative decisions
- • Ability to work independently on shoots, including self-directed lighting, sound, and talent direction
- • Willingness to come into the New York studio and travel for shoots as needed
