In this dynamic remote position, you will be instrumental in supporting our Truckload Operations Manager, ensuring the seamless day-to-day execution, coordination, and performance management of our critical truckload operations. - • As a Brokerage Analyst, you will be the operational linchpin, acting as a vital bridge between our dispatch teams, our valued network of contractors, external brokers, and senior management. You will be entrusted with the crucial responsibility of dispatching truckload freight, meticulously maintaining our operational boards and sophisticated systems, and fostering clear, consistent communication with brokers and contractors. Your primary objective will be to guarantee that all loads are executed with the utmost efficiency, strict adherence to compliance standards, and maximum profitability.
- • This role demands a proactive and analytical approach to managing real-time operational challenges. You will be at the heart of problem-solving, addressing immediate issues that arise during transit and ensuring the smooth flow of goods. Beyond immediate operational concerns, you will provide essential support for comprehensive reporting, accurate tracking of shipments, diligent oversight of profit margins, strategic contractor utilization, and the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing our operational capabilities.
- • Your responsibilities will extend to actively monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) for truckload operations. This includes tracking on-time pickup and delivery rates, assessing carrier performance, and identifying areas for cost optimization. - • You will be responsible for building and nurturing strong relationships with our network of truckload carriers and brokers. 🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field, with a strong understanding of truckload operations and brokerage.
- • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, brokers, and internal stakeholders.
- • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed recommendations.
- • Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS) and other relevant software, with a keen ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
