- • As a Browser QA Engineer at Perplexity, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of how millions of users interact with information online. - • Your primary responsibility will involve rigorous testing of the Perplexity Android app, ensuring it meets our exacting standards for performance, functionality, and user interface (UI) and user experience (UX). This includes identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs, as well as verifying fixes and regressions.
- • You will collaborate closely with our product teams to translate innovative ideas into tangible mobile experiences. This involves understanding product requirements, contributing to feature planning, and ensuring that new functionalities are robust and user-friendly from the outset.
- • A significant aspect of your role will be working hand-in-hand with our design teams. You will provide crucial feedback on UI/UX designs, helping to shape interfaces that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also incredibly fast, intuitive, and easy to navigate. Your insights will be vital in creating a seamless and delightful user journey.
- • You will partner with our dedicated desktop and mobile development teams throughout the entire software development lifecycle. - • Beyond manual testing, you will leverage your expertise in automated testing frameworks to build, maintain, and execute test suites. This will involve developing efficient and scalable automated tests that cover critical functionalities and regression scenarios, thereby increasing testing coverage and efficiency.

🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance engineering.
