- • As a Business and Data Analyst Intern at Ciena Corporation, you will work at the intersection of business strategy and data-driven insights, helping translate data into actionable business decisions that support the company’s mission of high-speed connectivity and people-first innovation.
- • Day to day, you will assist in collecting, manipulating, modeling, analyzing, and visualizing data; develop reports and dashboards to monitor key business metrics; collaborate with business and data teams to identify trends and opportunities; support ad-hoc reporting and presentations for leadership; and learn new data tools while understanding how they serve business objectives.

🎯 Requirements
- • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivots, charts) and a demonstrated ability to perform data analysis.
- • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret data in the context of broader business goals.
- • Effective communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- • Eagerness to learn and apply new project management tools and methods.
- • Curiosity about both business and data, with a passion for using insights to drive strategic decisions.
