  • • Join a dynamic U.S.-based private equity firm as a Business Development Representative (BDR) and play a pivotal role in their strategic growth by generating proprietary deal flow. This position is crucial for building the firm's acquisition pipeline through direct outreach to small business owners, acting as the vital first point of contact and setting the stage for future investments.
  • • As a BDR, your day-to-day will be intensely focused on outbound prospecting and high-volume cold calling. You will be responsible for initiating contact with U.S. business owners, delivering a clear, professional, and compelling introduction to the firm, and rapidly establishing credibility and rapport. A key part of your role involves skillfully navigating conversations, effectively handling objections, and identifying potential interest in selling or exploring acquisition opportunities. You will be tasked with qualifying leads based on predefined criteria and conversational cues, ultimately aiming to schedule qualified follow-up meetings between interested prospects and the firm's investment team, ensuring a seamless handoff with comprehensive context and detailed notes.
  • • Your responsibilities extend to meticulous pipeline management and consistent follow-ups. This includes accurately logging all call activities, outcomes, and essential notes within HubSpot, ensuring data integrity. You will manage a structured follow-up cadence, which involves callbacks and nurture conversations to re-engage prospects across multiple touchpoints, typically requiring 5–6 attempts per lead to maximize engagement. Furthermore, you will be responsible for sending professional follow-up emails and calendar invites to confirm scheduled meetings, maintaining momentum in the deal sourcing process.
  • • Performance and optimization are central to this role. You will be expected to meet or exceed daily and weekly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to call volume, meaningful conversations, and meetings booked. This involves diligently tracking and reporting on your performance metrics and pipeline activity, providing insights into your progress. A critical aspect of your contribution will be continuously refining your messaging and outreach approach based on the results you achieve and feedback received. You will actively participate in team check-ins and coaching sessions, collaborating with colleagues and leadership to enhance overall team effectiveness and individual skill development.
