  • • Join Ironclad, the industry-leading AI contracting platform, as a Business Development Representative (BDR) and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of how businesses manage their agreements. At Ironclad, we transform contracts from static documents into dynamic assets, enabling faster deal cycles, instant insight surfacing, and proactive agent engagement, all while ensuring you remain in complete control. Our intelligent platform unifies the entire contract process, providing leaders with the critical visibility needed to stay ahead in today's competitive landscape. We are proud to serve world-transformative organizations such as OpenAI, the World Health Organization, and the Associated Press, empowering them to accelerate their business operations.
  • • As a BDR, you will be at the forefront of our sales efforts, identifying and engaging with prospective clients who can benefit from Ironclad's innovative solutions. Your primary mission will be to generate high-quality sales opportunities by strategically targeting and building relationships within a defined territory. This involves meticulous research, proactive outreach, and conducting impactful, high-level conversations with senior executives.
  • • Your responsibilities will include creating and prioritizing strategic target account lists, ensuring a focused and efficient approach to market penetration. You will delve deep into prospect accounts, identifying key stakeholders, understanding their business challenges, and mapping out potential engagement strategies. This research extends to building comprehensive account profiles, which includes identifying and adding relevant contacts, crafting personalized outreach emails, and executing strategic calling campaigns.
  • • A key aspect of this role is the ability to conduct high-level conversations with senior executives. You will need to articulate the value proposition of Ironclad clearly and concisely, demonstrating a deep understanding of their business needs and how our platform can address them. This requires not only excellent communication skills but also the ability to quickly build rapport and establish credibility with influential decision-makers.
  • • You will be responsible for presenting compelling sales pitches, product reports, and other valuable data to potential prospects. These presentations should not only highlight the features and benefits of Ironclad but also promote the company's brand and mission. Your goal is to help the audience recognize a need for our solution and understand how it can drive significant business outcomes.
  • • To support our sales intelligence efforts, you will meticulously collect and track information that provides valuable insights for the sales team. This involves organizing and categorizing sales lead information, ensuring accuracy and completeness within our CRM system, Salesforce.com. This data-driven approach is crucial for refining our sales strategies and improving targeting effectiveness.
  • • Collaboration is key to success at Ironclad. You will work closely with various departments, including product, marketing, and sales, to identify potential product improvements, modifications, or changes that could enhance the overall performance and attractiveness of our platform. Your feedback from the front lines will directly contribute to our product roadmap and competitive edge.
  • • Ultimately, your success will be measured by your ability to achieve monthly quotas of qualified opportunities. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your sales career in a fast-paced, high-growth SaaS environment, working with a product that is consistently recognized as a leader in the industry. We are a Fortune Great Place to Work, a Leader in the Forrester Wave and Gartner Magic Quadrant for Contract Lifecycle Management, and recognized by Fast Company and Forbes for our innovation.
  • • This is a hybrid role based out of our San Francisco office, requiring in-office attendance three days per week (Tuesday through Thursday), with potential for additional in-office days for team or company events. You will be part of a dynamic team that values hard work, collaboration, and a shared commitment to delivering exceptional business results, all within a supportive and friendly environment.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 1+ years of experience as a Business Development Representative (BDR), preferably within the SaaS industry.
  • • Demonstrated drive and enthusiasm for entering a fast-paced startup environment.
  • • Eagerness to learn and proficiency with sales tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Outreach, and Salesforce.com.
  • • Self-sufficiency, a strong internal sense of urgency, a hardworking mentality, and humility.
  • • Thoughtful approach with strong attention to detail and the ability to grasp the bigger picture.
  • • Excellent communication skills and a proven track record of persistent follow-through on commitments.
  • • Ability to collaborate effectively as a teammate and a desire to own projects beyond core prospecting.
  • • Flexibility, coachability, and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • • Comfort in both delivering and receiving constructive feedback.
  • • A friendly and enthusiastic attitude, eager to work with a dedicated team focused on collective success.

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Comprehensive health coverage: 100% for employees (medical, dental, vision) and 75% for dependents, with buy-up plan options.

  • • Flexible Paid Time Off (PTO) – take the time you need, when you need it.
