  • • As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at Rollstack Inc., you will be the vital engine driving our company's growth by mastering the art of pipeline generation and serving as the crucial first point of contact for prospective clients. This foundational sales role is designed for individuals who are energetic, resilient, and possess a deep understanding of how to effectively engage with businesses facing significant challenges in data sharing and reporting.
  • • Your primary responsibility will involve high-volume outbound engagement, where you will leverage modern sales tools to connect with dozens of prospects daily. You will be instrumental in identifying organizations that are currently burdened by manual, time-consuming processes for updating slide decks and generating recurring reports. These manual efforts often divert valuable hours away from strategic decision-making and business outcome acceleration.
  • • You will play a critical role in supporting our Enterprise Account Executives (AEs) by meticulously identifying and developing "whitespace" opportunities within targeted accounts. This involves uncovering new departments and key stakeholders who can significantly benefit from Rollstack's automated reporting solutions.
  • • A key aspect of your role will be to conduct targeted account research. You will enhance provided lead lists with focused, high-impact research to ensure that your messaging is precisely tailored to resonate with the specific reporting pains experienced by leaders in Data, Customer Success, Finance, and Operations departments.
  • • You will master the "art of the hook," executing and continuously evolving tailored scripts designed to capture prospect interest within the critical first five minutes of a conversation. Your ability to pivot conversations effectively towards the transformative value of automated reporting will be paramount to your success.
  • • As the "eyes and ears" of the sales team, you will actively gather initial market feedback from your interactions. This intelligence is invaluable and will be shared with our Product and Marketing teams to help refine our messaging, product development, and overall go-to-market strategy.
  • • Maintaining meticulous records of your high-volume activity within Salesforce (SFDC) is essential. This ensures seamless handoffs to the AE team, accurate pipeline forecasting, and a clear understanding of sales performance metrics.
  • • You will be responsible for executing high-velocity outreach campaigns, utilizing advanced dialing tools to maximize your reach and efficiency. The goal is to consistently secure qualified meetings that can be nurtured into significant sales opportunities.
  • • By conducting strategic "whitespace" mapping, you will proactively identify untapped potential within our existing target accounts, expanding our reach and influence within these organizations.
  • • Your ability to create targeted account intelligence will involve understanding the unique operational challenges and data reporting needs of potential clients, allowing for personalized and impactful communication.
  • • Mastering the "hook" means developing compelling opening statements and conversation starters that immediately convey the value proposition of Rollstack and pique the prospect's interest in exploring a solution.
  • • Capturing market intelligence involves not just listening to prospect concerns but actively analyzing trends and common pain points to provide actionable insights back to the broader company.
  • • Maintaining CRM and data hygiene is a non-negotiable aspect of the role, ensuring that all interactions and prospect information are accurately logged and up-to-date for effective sales operations and reporting.
