📋 Description
- • Prospect into target accounts through cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other outbound channels to generate pipeline for Account Executives.
- • Identify and research key decision-makers within target accounts to ensure accurate and effective outreach.
- • Book qualified meetings for Account Executives and contribute directly to building sales pipeline.
- • Personalize outreach messaging where it matters while maintaining high activity levels across multiple channels.
- • Partner with sales leadership to refine targeting, messaging, and outbound strategy for the BDR function.
- • Contribute ideas and feedback on what is working and what needs improvement in the outbound prospecting process.
- • Help establish early best practices for outbound prospecting at Waitwhile as a founding BDR.
- • Bring a builder mentality to process design, experimentation, and day-to-day execution of outreach campaigns.
- • Maintain clean and accurate data in HubSpot to ensure reliable pipeline tracking and reporting.
- • Use tools such as Amplemarket, Trellus, and ZoomInfo to prospect, prioritize accounts, and execute outreach effectively.
- • Stay organized across activity tracking, follow-up schedules, and pipeline creation to maximize efficiency and output.
- • Continuously improve workflow habits to increase productivity and reduce inefficiencies in prospecting.
- • Share prospect feedback with Sales, Marketing, and RevOps teams to inform messaging, targeting, and campaign optimization.
- • Partner with Account Executives to ensure high-quality handoffs and alignment on qualified opportunities.
- • Surface market insights and common objections from frontline prospecting conversations to guide product and sales strategy.
- • Operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment where processes are not fully defined and require input to build from scratch.
- • Work remotely with occasional on-site visits as needed, maintaining strong communication and collaboration across distributed teams.
- • Contribute to a collaborative, low-ego culture where new ideas are welcomed, tested, and implemented.
🎯 Requirements
- • 1–2+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, business development, or outbound prospecting
- • Strong self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently and take initiative
- • Comfortable operating in an environment where not everything is fully built yet
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills
- • Resilience, curiosity, and a willingness to test, learn, and improve quickly
- • Organized and detail-oriented, with solid follow-through
