Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the entire outbound pipeline for Alma’s fastest-growing segment—Individuals & SMB—where every conversation can change someone’s life. You will design, launch, and relentlessly optimize multi-touch campaigns that combine high-signal data with human empathy to connect founders, remote workers, and small teams to the immigration support they desperately need.
- • Build and maintain automated sequences in Heyreach, Instantly, and Clay that scale to thousands of prospects yet feel like one-to-one outreach. You will write hooks that reference a founder’s latest funding round, a startup’s first international hire, or a family’s visa deadline—turning cold leads into warm conversations within minutes, not days.
- • Monitor real-time buying signals—LinkedIn job changes, AngelList raises, remote-first job postings, visa-related Google searches, and more—to surface the right person at the right moment. You will translate these signals into laser-focused lists and triggers that keep Alma top-of-mind when immigration questions inevitably arise.
- • Conduct rapid-fire discovery calls to uncover personal or SMB immigration goals, timelines, budgets, and decision-makers. You will balance genuine curiosity with consultative guidance, helping prospects understand their options before they ever speak to an attorney.
- • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to refine ICP micro-segments, craft new messaging angles, and experiment with channels like Reddit AMAs, Product Hunt launches, or niche Slack communities. Your feedback loop will directly influence product roadmaps and marketing campaigns.
- • Maintain pristine CRM hygiene in HubSpot—logging activities, tagging outcomes, and surfacing funnel insights that inform weekly iteration sprints. You will treat data as a product, ensuring every experiment is measurable and every insight is shareable.
- • Contribute to the evolving SMB outbound playbook by documenting winning sequences, objection-handling talk tracks, and automation recipes. You will mentor future BDRs and help scale the motion from hundreds to thousands of conversations per quarter.
- • Iterate daily—A/B test subject lines, swap in new signal sources, tweak call scripts, and analyze conversion dashboards. You will celebrate micro-wins (a 3% lift in reply rate) and macro-wins (a founder closing their Series A thanks to Alma’s O-1 guidance) with equal enthusiasm.
- • Thrive in a mission-driven culture where empathy meets execution. You will field calls from anxious parents, ambitious founders, and HR managers at three-person startups, knowing that every booked consultation moves someone closer to their dream life in the U.S.
- • Grow alongside a hypergrowth legal-tech rocket ship. Within 12–18 months you can level up into an SMB Account Executive closing five-figure deals, pivot into Customer Success owning expansion revenue, or dive into Revenue Operations building the next generation of growth infrastructure.
🎯 Requirements
- • 1–3 years of high-volume BDR/SDR experience in SMB, consumer, or PLG-adjacent environments
- • Hands-on proficiency with modern outbound stack: Heyreach, Instantly, Clay, Apollo, HubSpot, or equivalent
- • Exceptional written and verbal English communication—able to craft empathetic, concise, persuasive messages at scale
- • Strong phone presence and comfort guiding sensitive conversations around immigration timelines and costs
- • High-ownership, experiment-driven mindset with a bias toward fast execution and continuous iteration
🏖️ Benefits
- • Transparent, competitive compensation: US base $55–60 k with OTE $85–95 k; CAD base $70–78 k with OTE $108–122 k
- • Remote-first culture with flexible hours and quarterly team on-sites in the Bay Area
- • Direct, measurable impact on people’s lives—every booked meeting helps a founder, family, or small team achieve their immigration dream
- • Clear growth path into SMB AE, Enterprise AE, Customer Success, or Revenue Operations within 12–18 months
- • Access to cutting-edge sales tech and the autonomy to test ideas that shape Alma’s future outbound playbook
